Jabbuk Canaris Tegredir discovered a gathering of individuals in
lands claimed by The Vipers of Teutonia. Lands are dominated by
a Bastion held by Fey. Canaris met old allies the Beastmen and Quellar
Zommorod A'Tesh. He was invited to join the faction they are part
of, called The Jhereg. As this faction was closest to the Tarantulas,
including many ex-Tarantulas (Paladins of Llolth such as Chazmyr,
Baraven and Krimfen), Canaris joined on behalf of House Tegredir,
and became bodyguard to Sticksss, Faction Leader and head of the
Beastmen.
Jhereg
made heavy assault on the Bastion after rescuing King Carl Truehart
of The Lions. Canaris and Sticksss heavily involved in the fighting.
Sticksss went on to kill the Fey Lord in single combat using Canaris's
scimitars (leaving the weaponsmaster a short sword if things went
wrong !).

Quellar
Tegredir journeyed to the surface in force, Matron Tegredir bringing
Mistresses Sirantae and Sabraenel as well as Canaris, and a number
of wizards and house troops. Tegredir quickly gained a reputation
for guard duty diligence, and despite losing a wizard to a group
of Kagonesti low Elves, the House performed admirably, with Canaris
becoming head of the Body Guard Order, Uldor, and gaining a seat
on the Jhereg Council as a result. When battle was finally met between
the Fey forces and those with whom the Jhereg sided, Matron Zypheny
and both her daughters involved themselves in the extremely hazardous
task of keeping Sticksss upright, whilst Canaris did his best to
shield him whether upright or not. In the end, the House followed
Sticksss in one last desperate charge through the Fey lines which
proved successful and won the battle, although Canaris came very
close to death. One House troop was lost in battle, but gave a glorious
account of himself as he was hacked down, killing or injuring most
of his attackers. It had been a very successful first year of surface
operations for the House.
