QUELLAR GERESHEN: The Family

Ilharess Faeryl Gereshen
Matron of House Gereshen, First Matron of the city of V'elddrinnsshar, High Priestess of Llolth. Ilharess Faeryl was Ilharess Saravay's third daughter, and showed considerable resource and prowess, as well as personal leadership, to ascend her mother's throne. She was confirmed in her new position by Llolth herself, in person, having seen off a concerted attack by Illithids in 1100. Known to have been highly active upon the surface as part of The Tarantulas in the period 1093-1097. Powerful and deadly, and known to lead attack groups herself when sufficiently angry.

Manschtyn Gereshen
House Wizard, former 1st Boy of Gereshen. With the elevation of his younger sister as Matron, Manschtyn is no longer a house prince by blood, although Ilharess Faeryl has changed little in that regard so far. He retains his position as House Wizard, largely because he is one of the most powerful mages in the city. An extremely powerful, thoughtful and cunning male, Manschtyn likely has a glittering future to look forward to. Well connected with other mages of the city and Tarantulas, and further afield.

Varquin Gereshen
Swordmaster, former 2nd Boy. Varquin was heavily involved in the initial surface ventures of Gereshen, accompanying Canaris in 1091, and taking part in all surface ventures until 1095. Varquin has remained in the House since then, and is rarely seen in public these days.

Tebryn Gereshen
Unknown, former 3rd Boy. Tebryn was still a child when Ilharess Saravay became a Yochlol. It is not known what, if anything, has become of him. The family do not discuss him openly. It is even rumoured that he had a yet younger sibling, possibly a female, although again this is never discussed by the family.

Triel Gereshen
High Priestess of Llolth, Younger sister of Saravay. Triel is 'Gereshen' by Saravay's will, and her own hard work on behalf of the House. Her offspring, in particular Shar, are treated almost as well as Saravay's own, and again so far Ilharess Faeryl has seen no reason to alter her Aunt's or cousin's status. Triel is not as flashy as some other High Priestesses, but diligent and devout. She and Faeryl have argued, spectacularly, before but not for quite some time. Attended the surface with the House in 1096.

Shar Gereshen
High Ambassador, Guard & Scout Captain, House Prince. Shar is Triel's eldest child, and Ilharess Faeryl's cousin. He is an expert diplomat, silver tongued and persuasive. He established the diplomatic corps of the Tarantulas faction after having run the Matron's Council tent in 1092 with such efficiency that Saravay promoted him from Page Prince straight afterwards. Perhaps his finest hour was in 1094 when he informed the Dragons that they could talk to him, or to the 400 or so Tarantulas that were, right on cue, marching round the corner at them. The Dragons talked, rapidly.
