The Duergar City of Gracknulb

Gracknulb is perhaps the strongest settlement in the Underdark, certainly the strongest that anyone in the area is aware of. Whilst it only contains around six-thousand grey dwarves, even mighty V'elddrinnsshar would hesitate to mount an assault as the city is more a fortress than a dwelling place, and the casualties against the malicious and tough Duergar would be horrendous.

In recent times, Gracknulb has celebrated The Festival of The Axe, and non-Duergar have had the rare opportunity to see inside the fortress of the grey dwarves. It has also inspired a few of the hardy dwarves to go out and seek adventure, and broaden their horizons a bit.

Duergar are one of the more 'underplayed' races of The Underdark, but still a few turn up from time to time, and often are very successful in their chosen areas of business. Presented here are a few from Realms Below, but any other Duergar players are welcome to link to this area on request.
